I make ordinary people. Who tell stories of spectacular things, events and personalities- Sometimes I make them appear as actors enacting extraordinary stories told to them by their ancestors, elders, wise ones, scholars, story tellers , orators etc .So it might appear in some scenes that they themselves are “holy” – they are not… in fact they are mostly naive, vulnerable, hopeful fools – in longing, in love and in lust – trying to make sense of this extremely difficult situation that they are put in – which is life on earth. So please spare me. I don’t consider my work sacred and neither should you.
