I am delighted to invite you to visit We Sinful Women: The Library Project, Curated by Salima Hashmi and yours truly.

The exhibition will be on view at the SOAS Library, this autumn.
It brings together the works of women artists from South Asia and Middle East from the Taimur Hassan Collection. @taimurhassan.collection

Inspired by Kishwar Naheed’s iconic poem Hum Gunehgaar Auratien (We Sinful Women), the show spans generations, disciplines, and geographies to create a rare constellation of practices in dialogue. It will include works of artists across generations including Naiza Khan, Nalini Malani, Arpita Singh, Bani Abidi, Gauri Gill, Marilyn Silverstone, amongst others.
