Hamid Ali Hanbhi explores the processes of perception and reading; borrowing images from a variety of media, mostly film stills, he imposes what appear to be subtitles on rich landscapes, bringing ideas of storytelling and narrative into focus. Ahsan Memon creates moody figures in mysterious surroundings. With eyes closed or barely open, these portraits occupy a space between the known and the uncertain.
