In this piece, Sohni’s face embodies a fusion of love, fear, beauty, and sorrow—emotions that reflect the intensity of her devotion and fate. While creating this painting, I was inspired by the vibrant beauty of South Asia and the enduring love between Sohni and Mahiwal, a tale that continues to echo across generations.
