Nesta obra, creada para a Bienal, Shabbir volve ao xardín, ao xesto de coidar e cultivar. Pero desta volta faino preguntándose como seguir adiante nun contorno cada vez máis inhóspito: como resistir ante o deterioro do mundo que habitamos?

La 32a Bienal de Pontevedra llega a su fin. The Resilient, el corazón gigante de @wardhashabbir, ha latido con fuerza durante tres meses en el jardín del edificio García Flórez. Esta pieza se alza como una visión esperanzadora del porvenir, donde la vida no solo sobrevive, sino que encuentra nuevas formas de florecer.

En esta obra, creada para la Bienal, Shabbir regresa al jardín, al gesto de cuidar y cultivar. Pero esta vez lo hace preguntándose cómo seguir adelante en un entorno cada vez más inhóspito: ¿cómo resistir ante el deterioro del mundo que habitamos?

The 32nd Pontevedra Biennial comes to an end. The Resilient, the giant heart by @wardhashabbir, has been beating strongly for three months in the garden of the García Flórez building. This piece stands as a hopeful vision of the future, where life not only survives but finds new ways to bloom.

In this work, created for the Biennial, Shabbir returns to the garden, to the act of caring and cultivating. But this time, he does so while asking how to move forward in an increasingly inhospitable environment: how can we resist the deterioration of the world we inhabit?
