We are delighted to welcome Associate Professor Naiza Khan to the Painting + Printmaking Department and the VCUarts Qatar community!

Naiza Khan is an internationally recognized artist working across painting, cartography, and film. She represented Pakistan at the 58th Venice Biennale (2019) with Manora Field Notes, received the Prince Claus Award for her contribution to art and culture, and in 2025 was honored with the Distinguished Artist Award by Harvard’s Mittal South Asia Institute.
She brings with her extensive teaching experience from Indus Valley School of Art and Karachi University, alongside a BFA from Oxford and an MA from Goldsmiths, London.
