The Male Figure

Grosvenor Gallery is proud to present ‘The Male Figure’, an exhibition exploring masculinity in contemporary Pakistan through the works of Anwar Saeed and Faiza Butt.

Anwar Saeed, one of Lahore’s most distinguished painters, delves into gender, identity, and societal constructs. His works merge Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, and Greek mythology, forming a poetic and compelling visual language. Through the male figure, he examines human behavior, religion, sexuality, and personal vs. societal conflicts.
