Marium M. Habib's (@mariumbob_studio) paintings crackle with subversive humour, where smoking monkeys and suggestive bananas dance against lush backdrops inspired by her childhood in Karachi.

Through vibrant colour and dynamic brushwork, she challenges orientalist tropes with a playful yet pointed perspective.

Marium graduated from the Slade School of Fine Art with an MFA in Painting.
