@naturemorte_india Imran Qureshi’s installation entitled Between Sacred Cities (Zubaydah Trail) has been created for the Islamic Arts Biennale 2025, now on view in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The work reflects on the historic pilgrimage route from Kufa to Makkah, commissioned by Zubaydah over a thousand years ago to aid travelers on their journey.

Using woven strips, the work represents the flowing waters of Zamzam and the calmness of Madinah, inspired by the charbagh gardens. It also highlights traditional artisanal crafts, preserving and adapting them for the present.
