40+ artists including collectives and informal groups, from 10 countries will bring their engaging interpretation of the theme Rizq/ Risk to KB24. The theme underlines the foodscape of our time through the lens of climate change, the disruption of colonial and neo- liberal policies, and timeless food culture. The vital role of women in the production of food and preservation of indigenous knowledge will also be a part of the conversation.

KB24 is curated by Waheeda Baloch, Karachi Biennale’s first woman curator.
KB24 will take place at 5 venues, across Karachi. It will be open to the public from Sunday October 27 to Sunday November 10 , 2024.
