A commissioned work by , who is introducing a new era in meditation and prayer, this rug is hand-woven by Weaver and Loom in Toronto and their amazing carpet makers in Nepal. Wonderful experience collaborating with @zaib_shaikh , looking forward to continue working together @kstew_1
The artwork uses complex data-driven and generative art techniques. I collected prayer data, which is then embedded into the final artwork using AI, algorithms, custom softwares and image manipulations. This is the first time my complex data-driven digital generative art has been translated into a physical object.
