In this body of work, the artist shares works that are perceived as an obscure form of text; in which the norm dictates that speaking a certain way is not allowed.

As an artist, Ruheel dissects where we have arrived: a time of sterilised speech. According to him, “there is a smokescreen that conceals intent, and words are chosen so carefully that they have become meaningless”. The artist believes that globally, “a new language has been organically developing in our subconsciousness and this new language needs a universal script so that it may become part of life”. Ruheel is working on developing this script, and this exhibition is a satirical reflection of that belief.
